Adjacent — we have the machinery

One stock position, however many places you sell from.

A counter, a warehouse and a storefront are three views of the same stock. When they disagree, someone sells something that is not there — and the customer finds out first.

We have not shipped a general retail platform. We have shipped the machinery it needs — point of sale, multi-branch stock, purchasing and an e-commerce service — as part of a live optical ERP. Several of our engineers also built retail and e-commerce systems before joining.

Sound familiar?

A week in this business.

If three or more of these are true, the problem is usually not the tools. It is that none of them talk to each other.

  • The website sells something the shop sold an hour ago
  • Stock is counted per location and reconciled per argument
  • Pricing and promotions are maintained in more than one place
  • Returns are handled differently online and in store
  • Nobody can see margin by product without exporting to Excel

What we’d build

The parts that matter here.

Point of sale, including desktop and offline-tolerant
Multi-branch and warehouse stock
Purchasing and supplier management
Storefront and catalogue
Payment gateways — JazzCash and Safepay in production
Stock reconciliation and adjustments
Sales and margin reporting

Which route

Configure something proven, or build it?

Most vendors answer this the way that suits them. Here is how it usually goes in this sector — and we will tell you plainly which side you are on.

Open-source ERP

Usually faster and cheaper

Usually the fastest route. Inventory, POS, purchasing and e-commerce are core Odoo, and for most retailers the work is configuration and data migration.

How we do this

Custom build

When the standard parts run out

When the selling model is unusual — configured or made-to-order products, complex pricing, or an operation the standard modules genuinely cannot express.

How we do this

Questions

You mostly do optical. Why would we use you?
Because optical is retail with harder requirements bolted on. The stock, purchasing, POS and accounting underneath are the same, and they run in production today. We would rather tell you that than imply a retail portfolio we do not have.
Can you work with our existing online store?
Usually. Replacing a storefront that already converts is rarely the right first move; connecting it to a single stock position generally is.

Thirty minutes, no deck. We’ll tell you what we would do — and say so plainly if software isn’t the answer.
