We have built and still run platforms for two non-profit organisations, including the Opticians Association of Pakistan — the only optician’s body licensed by the Ministry of Commerce. You can open it and check.

Often a very good fit. Membership, contacts, events and accounting exist out of the box, licences are free or cheap, and the budget goes on configuration instead of code.

- We have almost no budget. Is this realistic?
- Often yes, and it is why we lead with open-source ERP here rather than a custom build. Most of what an association needs already exists — the work is configuring it and moving your records in, not writing it from nothing.
- Nobody on our staff is technical. Who runs it afterwards?
- We do, on a monthly arrangement — hosting, backups, updates and someone to call. That is the normal shape for an organisation without in-house IT, and it is what we already do for the association platform we run.
- Our decisions go through a committee. Does that slow you down?
- No, and we plan for it. We would rather agree a scope your board can approve once than start work that stalls at the next meeting.
